Cedar March Recruiting

Proof before placement.

We place senior IT and engineering talent. Every candidate completes a role-specific, structured assessment before you see a resume. You review scored evidence, not claims. Fees due only when your hire starts.

What We Place

Two practices. One standard.

Different talent pools, identical rigor. Both practices run on the same assessment library: structured work samples, weighted scorecards, and reference protocols built for each role.

IT Practice

Senior IT engineers, any industry

Tier 3 through Tier 5 engineers who run, secure, and automate serious infrastructure. Senior IT talent is industry-portable, and we place it across manufacturing, financial services, healthcare, technology, and beyond.

  • Cybersecurity engineering and operations
  • Cloud architecture and platform engineering
  • Infrastructure automation and DevOps
  • Escalation-tier systems and network engineering
Engineering Practice

Manufacturing engineers, for manufacturers

Mechanical and electrical engineers who live on the plant floor. These placements go where the work is: production environments, from job shops to multi-site operations.

  • Mechanical and electrical manufacturing engineers
  • Controls and automation engineering
  • Quality and process engineering
  • Technical leadership, supervisor to plant level
How It Works

Evidence first. Resume second.

Most recruiters forward resumes and hope. We built a screening system and put it in front of the submittal, where it belongs.

1

Scope the role

A working session on the role, the environment, and what failure looks like. We write the spec and you approve it before sourcing starts.

2

Assess the candidate

Each candidate completes a role-specific work sample scored against a weighted key, drawn from our 56-role assessment library.

3

Submit the evidence

You receive the scored assessment summary with the resume behind it. Interviews start from data, not from a phone screen impression.

4

Guarantee the hire

Fees are contingency only, due when your hire starts, and backed by a written replacement guarantee.

Working With Us

Three commitments, in writing.

Pay only on hire

Contingency fees. No retainer, no deposit, no invoice until your hire starts work. A signed fee agreement comes before any resume, so terms are never a surprise.

Replacement guarantee

If the hire leaves inside the guarantee window, we replace them. The exact terms are stated in the fee agreement, in plain language.

No volume games

We work a small book of searches at a time. You get one point of contact, a short list of assessed candidates, and straight answers on timeline.

For candidates

You get one recruiter, straight answers on compensation and timeline, and full control: your resume goes nowhere without your yes. The assessment works for you too. It puts proof of your ability in front of the hiring manager before anyone judges you off a resume keyword scan. Reach out at candidates@cedarmarch.com.
